Hip Hop at ATRS

Our first hip hop class of the week on on Tuesday's at 3:45. This is not a typical hip hop class. Tuesday's class is a hip hop / jazz prep dance class. The ages for this class are 4 - 7. Students will learn the basics of both dance disciplines and ready themselves to study once they are ready to move into the class at the next level.

The hip hop portion of class covers transitional movement most often used in popular hip hop choreography. Isolation's, waves and body rolls are also studied each week.

The jazz portion of the class includes jazz walks, runs, 3 steps turns, kicks and common dance phrases used in popular choreography.

Hip Hop / Jazz prep. is a great first/second year dance class for our younger students. Fast paced, fun and upbeat the kids are always moving and learning. Just what we like to see!
